YYCRedress was born after a passionate hobby grew into a successful way to both help our family financially and to give me a way to express my creative side. Originally from England, I moved to Calgary in 2009 and started a new life with the love of my life where we built a home and family. After 10 years raising children we decided that my time had come to "go back to work'. A regular 9 to 5 wasn't an option for our family, so I've taken my passion and a dream and I'm making it real. 

I have vison, an amazing eye for detail and colour, determination and a helluva lot of power tools at my disposal. I'm lucky enough to have a large workshop to work from and the love and support of family and friends. I find joy and potential in the broken and unwanted and turn pieces of furniture that are cast aside into beautiful works of art! I love the fact that I'm keeping things out of the landfill and extending the life of a much loved piece.
